Lior, Townsend, Rambo: The 3 extremeties of reality
Welcome back Hurshy!
Thanks.
Crazy how its already near the end of February and starting a new season isnt it? Every season my fingers type with a different sense in this blog. Some are immature and some are trying to grow up, but its all the same vibe: "Dude...this shit is whack"
So Daniel Lior has released a new album. This guy is basically indie folk with arab influence. His lyrics are hella deep, always about water, sand and other fluid particles that tend to be taken against their will by their adversary: Wind.
Then there's Devin Townsend. Even though Dream Theater are my favourite band, Devin Townsend is my most influential musician.
Then there's Rambo. Man. Stallone. Is. Nuts. Rambo, that movie was so awesome. I mean, it made no sense!!! But the action was incredible! Like, my brain was basically saying "Wait....how the hell did that happen that just made no sense this movie is so sh - ...OH MY GOD DID YOU SEE THAT GUY'S HEAD COME OFF!! WOW THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME!!!". Rambo didn't say much in this sequel, he just kicked alot of ass. I actually think all the pills Stallone has been taking has made him a muscular vegetable. There was alot of tense staring in the film, but I don't think that was deliberate. I think Stallone just forgot his lines, but it turned out well on camera. Maybe Stallone didn't even know he was directing the film, let alone IN one. I honestly think thats what he does as his daily living activities. Anyway, the film kicked ass, I almost started hating asians after I saw the film, it was THAT powerful. Just watch it, you will totally get me.
My life has been quite busy but I still feel like im torn in two paths. The problem is, I havent taken one yet, its like there's a huge bridge gate saying something like "Beware! Whatever path you decide, just may suck!". I have been constructive though. My work is going well, im getting singing lessons now, I fortunately have a gig coming up. Once I overcome the fear of being unique, i'll be able to grab whatever it is thats in my grasp. Thats my dream. I think in the end, whatever path I take will be right, because its the journey thats going to be eventful, the destination will not matter.
Wow..corny
I have bought new gear. I'm going to get some recordings done very soon I hope.
Thanks.
