Back from the dead
Wow, I totally forgot about this haha. Its like almost 3am and I came across this blog, thought "maybe its time i write some more shit about nothing...". Ok so lets see, you're probably wondering what i've been upto? No? You havent?....well screw you i'm telling you anyway.
So I've been playing lots of Guild Wars, not as much as I was previously but still enough to be noticeable during social outings, like calling fellow guild members by their guild names rather than their real names, and carrying around a staff with a hand-carving of "The Noob-Ender". For those who dont know what Guild Wars is, its basically World of Warcraft for cheap people. I have three characters so far:
Balsac Heir - My first character. I was going to name him Scrotum Fuzz but it was censored, so i tried Ballsack Hair, which was also censored.
Mark Holden - This was a dare, to name my character after a judge from Australian Idol. I also have to shout "TOUCHDOWN" right before we enter battle *shakes head*
The Curry Muncher - My most recent character.
So thats one aspect of my life. Also I start uni again in a month and i've been working for TNT in the A/P department so i can get some money together to pay off my HECS before end of March (hopefully). What else? Oh yeah, i'm going to get back into the gym. I went today...felt weird going after sooo long especially considering the amount of strength I lost. I did 60kg bench which I was proud of considering. My friend said I should be back upto 70/75 by the time Uni starts (yay).
In terms of music I havent made anything "new" my most recent song is still Feelin' Blue (www.angelfire.com/alt/stuff/morestuff/feelinbluefinal.mp3 if you wanna listen, its very old). I've learnt alot more about recording since that file, but i've still got ALOT to go. Im having drumkit problems its shitting me to tears. I have the AKAI version of Drumkit From Hell but its so hard to program especially since using Cubase sx is as hard as Bill Clinton in the mornings. I think I need to get some Multi-format version of DFH in order to get it right. I've programmed the whole drums for Nothing Else Matters by Metallica but it sounds a little dodgy. Oh yeah, and I bought myself a Podxt Live...my god it is soooooo sweet best $850 i've ever spent.
Also my brother bought the Opeth tickets which is gonna be awesome 'cuz they're playin at a newly opened place called Big Top at Luna Park (when I say newly opened I think its been a few years now). Joe Satriani, The Haunted and Cryptopsy are also coming down under, hopefully i'll be able to catch all of those shows. Korn and Disturbed might also be coming but I dont know, i've got mixed feelings towards that concert. I was a diehard Korn fan when I was younger so I dunno...i'll see. Anyway I think i've written enough shit for one night. I'll try to write this shit more often. Cya all, take care
